At the same time, the majority would like to go on holiday with a cat (40%), slightly less with a dog (35%). The remaining 25% with other animals: rabbits, groundhogs, hamsters and raccoons. Mostly men aged 31-35 (71%) (32%) prefer to have a ponytail.
“The cost of traveling with your beloved pet will be about 30% higher for you. If you plan to travel abroad, do not forget the International Veterinary Certificate, a certificate from the SCOR or RKF club and a chip or a unique brand,” said Ekaterina Dolgikh, Marketing Director of the Kupibilet company.
Despite this desire, 72% of respondents are afraid of their pets. The main ones are related to flying: 22.7% are afraid to check their pets in the baggage, 30% are worried that the pet may not feel well even in the cabin, 21.3% are worried that an airport in another country will not accept animals, 9.7% are afraid to get the necessary vaccinations before flying, and 8.9% do not trust the quality of veterinary medicine in neighboring cities and countries.
