Residents of the border areas of the Kursk region, which were attacked by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), will be accommodated in sanatoriums of the Zaporozhye region. Deputy Governor of the Kursk Region Alexey Smirnov announced this on his Telegram channel.
“In the near future, the first flights to transport people to temporary accommodation centers in the Zaporozhye region will be completed,” he wrote.
Health facilities located along the Azov coast from Berdyansk to Kirillovka will be used to accommodate people. Smirnov also said that Zaporozhye volunteers have arrived in the Kursk region and will provide on-site assistance to residents.
“Zaporozhye region is a region with vast experience in both military operations and volunteer work, and this experience can help us,” Smirnov added.
