Khagari noted in his statement on the X social network that the troops he mentioned were already deployed and ready for action.
Despite the potential threat from Iran, Khagary added that emergency instructions for citizens have not changed.

The governor of Qasre Shirin, an Iraqi border town in Iran’s Kermanshah province, Mohammad Najafi, announced that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) will hold military exercises amid rising tensions in the region. These exercises are a response to the removal of Ismail Haniyeh following Israel’s July 31 attack on his Tehran residence. Hamas said a response was imminent and blamed Israel and the United States for the attack.
Israeli officials have refused to comment on the incident and the United States has denied any involvement in Haniyeh’s killing.
