In Gelendzhik, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Krasnodar Territory of Russia and the National Guard detained one of the attackers who attacked a businessman near his house in the village of Divnomorskoye. “On the orders of third parties, two young men damaged the man’s foreign car in exchange for money, then beat him and sprayed pepper spray in his face,” the report said.

Law enforcement authorities claimed that the reason for the crime was commercial activity. Based on this fact, a criminal case of hooliganism was opened. The person detained as part of the investigation was taken into custody. For what he did, he could be sentenced to seven years in prison.

The Interior Ministry of the Russian city of Gelendzhik also reported that the attacker’s accomplice faces the same sentence; his identity was already known to police. Efforts to capture the attacker are ongoing.
