British justice system sentences those involved in race riots to up to 3 years in prison

La justicia británica ha dado a conocer este miércoles las primeras penas de cárcel para las personas implicadas en los disturbios en contra de los inmigrantes alentados por la extrema derecha en el Reino Unido. Un tribunal de Liverpool ha condenado a Derek Drummond, un hombre de 58 años, a tres años de cárcel por agredir a un agente de policía en los altercados que tuvieron lugar la semana pasada en Southport, donde comenzó la ola de violencia tras el asesinato de tres niñas a manos de un joven de 17 años. Otros dos hombres, de 29 y 41 años, han sido condenados a 30 y a 20 meses de cárcel, respectivamente, por su implicación en los disturbios en el centro de Liverpool.
