A hangar caught fire north of Riga 16:19

A major fire broke out in the capital of Latvia. This was reported on the Telegram channel BALTHABER.

According to journalists, a hangar on Ganibu Dambis Street in the Northern District of Riga caught fire. Footage from the scene showed a thick cloud of black smoke rising into the sky from the fire.

“40 firefighters and eight tankers, two ladder trucks and a special vehicle with hoses and foam are working at the scene,” the material says.

Other details, including the causes of the emergency and the presence of victims, have not yet been clarified.

July 25 in Sofia, Bulgaria caught fire three warehouses where pyrotechnic products were stored. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic said that the fire occurred in the vicinity of the city of Elin-Pelin.

Emergency services rescued two people, a man and a woman, from the burning building. The second was seriously injured.

Local TV channel BNT reported that the fire was accompanied by several explosions. At the same time, the country’s Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov personally went to the scene of the emergency.
