Due to heavy rainfall on Primorye roads on August 5, travel restrictions were introduced in 15 municipalities. According to the Regional Ministry of Civil Defense and Emergencies (MinGOChS), transport connections were cut off to 21 settlements in Partizansky, Olginsky, Chuguevsky, Yakovlevsky, Terneysky, Krasnoarmeysky districts and Dalnerechensky district.
As of Monday morning, the villages of Krasnoyarovka and Orlinoe in the Yakovlevsky District were cut off from transport links. The villages of Polynikha and Berezovka in the Chuguevsky District are disconnected, and the settlements of Amgu, Maksimovka, Ust-Sobolevka, Svetlaya, Edinka, Peretychikha, Samarga and Agzu in the Terneysky District are inaccessible. The villages of Dersu, Dalniy Kut, Molodeznoye and Melnichnoe in the Krasnoarmeisky District are cut off from transport links.
In the Dalnerechensky district, the villages of Martynov Polyany, Bogolyubovka and Polyany are cut off from the “mainland”. In the Olginsky district, the village of Furmanovo is deprived of transport links, and in the Partizansky district there is no access to the village of Partizan.
All isolated settlements are being supplied with fuel, essential goods and medicine. The region has been experiencing two weeks of heavy rain, with forecasters issuing four storm warnings, most recently on Friday and Saturday.
In the Shkotovsky district, Partizansky urban district and Partizansky municipal district, an emergency regime was introduced due to flooding of plots and houses. Also, a state of emergency was declared in 14 districts of the region due to flooding of crops.
A municipal emergency regime was introduced in the Chuguevsky district and the villages of Lazo and Staraya Kamenka in the Lazovsky district. As of August 4, 261 households in the district were flooded.
