He added that a more positive situation was observed with the stabilization of the operation of the Rostov NPP with the start of the repair of the Novocherkassk State Regional Power Plant.
“We hope there will be no need to implement emergency containment programmes today,” he said.
Grabchak noted that minor restrictions on the operation of industry during peak hours remain, but these restrictions are synchronized with regional authorities. According to him, these procedures are standard to ensure the stability of the power system during peak consumption hours.
