A journalist’s viral report on the UK election: ‘It was so predictable that I recorded this weeks ago’

The UK general election has brought about a significant change in government. After more than 14 years of leadership conservatives (Conservatives) Labour Party led by Keir Starmer takes over A simple majority in the House of Commons with 412 MPsThat’s 211 more than in the last election.

The Progressives’ good result and the huge debacle for former Chancellor Rishi Sunak’s party was a result so predicted by the polls that even journalists had made up their own history about it.

This is the case of Lisette Reymer, Europe correspondent for New Zealand media outlet NewsHub, who, by her own admission, surprised her audience with a report recorded a few weeks ago.

“For months, even years, the power transition seemed inevitable. Today’s outcome was so predictable I was able to save weeks in advanceBefore flying to New Zealand,” the communicator wrote.
