More than half of Russians (52%) plan to renovate in the next three years. This was shown by a survey conducted on the service “Repair with SberServices” and the social network Odnoklassniki, the results of which were studied by socialbites.ca.

Interest in renovations from scratch, that is, in new buildings, has increased significantly – this year 65% of respondents plan to make renovations in new apartments, while last year – 45%. In second place is the reorganization of housing after the previous owners when moving (21%), and only in third place (14%) is the updating of own repairs that have already been made.

According to Odnoklassniki, over the past six months, people have shown 28% more interest in content about repairs than in the same period last year. At the same time, users under the age of 35 began to interact with such content more often (+14%). Users are most interested in the following topics: design trends; building materials (tips for choosing); space-saving solutions; furniture; life hacks to save money.

The survey showed that 65% of Russians have a rather negative and anxious attitude towards repairs. 70% of respondents have negative feelings towards repairs due to the fact that such work takes a lot of time. In second place in popularity (58%) is a lot of dust and dirt, and in third place (49%) is exceeding the planned budget.

On the contrary, 35% are looking forward to repairs. 85% of Russians have a positive attitude towards renovation because of the change of environment and home renovation, 60% because of the satisfaction of their own achievements, and 43% enjoy the process of creativity and self-expression.

Previously AppearedOne in every two Russians will buy an apartment before 2034.
