High alert regime introduced in Amur region due to heat 02:51

Due to abnormal temperatures exceeding 35 degrees Celsius, a high alert regime was introduced in some areas of the Amur region. This was officially reported Telegram channel regional government.

Very hot weather is expected in the region this week, with temperatures reaching 36 degrees. In this context, a high alert regime has already been implemented in some municipalities. It is recommended to talk to children about water safety rules and not allow swimming without adult supervision.

According to information received from the Regional Hydrometeorology Center, a storm warning has been issued since July 2 due to intense heat. Not only is hot weather expected, but maximum air temperatures of at least 35 degrees are also expected for five consecutive days.

The head of the city, Stanislav Melyukov, also noted that for the first time an order was signed to introduce a high alert regime due to high temperatures. He called for attention and special care to protect children from heat stroke due to the approaching heat wave.

Before that, the website of the Amur Hydrometeorological Center reported that due to the strong thermobaric ridge, heat up to 38-40 degrees is forecast from July 1 to July 7. In Blagoveshchensk, a high alert mode was also introduced in connection with the heat from June 30 and will remain in force until July 8.
