Save The Children estimates the number of missing Palestinian children in Gaza at 21,000

En los últimos ocho meses el mundo se acostumbrado a ver diariamente en las redes a infinidad de niños palestinos destrozados por las bombas en Gaza, mutilados o quemados, rotos y famélicos, velando a sus padres y hermanos, o deambulando solos y traumatizados entre los escombros de la Franja. Al menos 14.000 han muerto en los ataques israelíes, según el ministerio de Salud del enclave, una cifra que, sin embargo, no revela la magnitud plena del desastre infligido sobre la infancia de Gaza, donde representa cerca de la mitad de la población. Un nuevo informe de Save The Children cifra en 21.000 el número de niños palestinos desaparecidos desde el 7 de octubre. Un cómputo que incluye a aquellos que se cree que yacen bajo los escombros, enterrados en fosas comunes, detenidos por las tropas israelíes o separados de sus familias en el caos y los desplazamientos forzosos de estos meses.
