A drone was shot down in the sky over the Belgorod region 19:40

Air defense systems shot down a Ukrainian drone over the Belgorod region. This situation was reported to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

At around 18:00 Moscow time, a UAV belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces was detected and destroyed over the Russian region. There is no information about damage or loss of life.

Before that, in a military unit reported about the performance of air defense systems during the week. Russian air defense systems destroyed a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jet and 465 enemy drones.

Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost two Mi-8 helicopters and Su-27 and Su-25 aircraft destroyed at airfields.

The day before in the airspace of the Rostov region destroyed 70 drones at a time. Another 17 Ukrainian UAVs were neutralized in the Kursk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Belgorod regions and the Republic of Crimea.
