Half of Spaniards do not trust the independence of the judicial system

España sigue siendo un año más uno de los países de la Unión Europea donde sus ciudadanos más desconfían del sistema judicial. Según el último informe sobre el estado de la justicia en Europa, el 50% de los españoles considera que la independencia de los magistrados y jueces es “mala” o “bastante mala” frente al 37% que la califican de “buena” o “bastante buena”. Aunque la percepción ha mejorado, los datos solo son peores en Croacia (69%), Bulgaria (64%), Polonia (62%), Eslovaquia (61%), Grecia (56%) e Italia (54%). La principal razón esgrimida es la “interferencia” o la “presión” por parte del Gobierno y los políticos.
