Young people prefer open plans in 55% of cases, while at the same time, among respondents in the age category of 36 to 45 years, only 30% prefer to work in open space.

Among the advantages of an office in an open space format, the majority of Russians note the feeling of belonging to everyone, team spirit (44%) and the opportunity to communicate with colleagues during work (in 25% of cases). Among other advantages of open spaces, Russians point out clear and understandable business processes (23%) and the availability of the manager at all times (13%).

However, it is important that one in every two Russians (50%) is allocated a workplace, even when working outdoors. However, for one in four people this is not a determining factor (33%). The other 18% have difficulty answering this question.

Russians also admitted which workspace planning criteria are most important to them. Therefore, respondents want to see zoned space in their dream office: quiet work areas (in 41% of cases), communication and relaxation areas (in 22% of cases), large dining areas (in 15% of cases), shared work areas (in 15% of cases). in 13% of cases). It is interesting that in 22% of cases Russians admit that they dream of having their own barista who will prepare delicious coffee and other drinks without leaving the office.

It is noteworthy that Russians demand not only work space, but also recreation space outside working hours: for example, in 24% of cases, respondents want to have sports areas in the office as well as sports areas. massage room (in 12% of cases), showers (in 10% of cases), sleeping areas (in 7% of cases). In another 21% of cases, Russians cited green spaces in the area as one of the key criteria for their dream office.
