Former Kuchma press secretary Alexander Martynenko died 16:23

Famous Ukrainian journalist Alexander Martynenko, founder and head of the Interfax-Ukraine news agency, passed away at the age of 63. The agency reports this.

No other details were given in the message.

In 1998-2001, Martynenko served as press secretary to the second President of Ukraine, Leonid Kuchma. From 2002 to 2003 he was a member of the National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine.
