Drug trafficking suspects were detained in the Leningrad region. This was reported by control Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region.

The incident took place in Murino. Law enforcement entered the suspects’ apartment through the roof, windows and doors. As a result, a 28-year-old young man and a 19-year-old girl were detained. The latter, as the Ministry of Internal Affairs believed, was a usurer.

“During searches of the detainees’ apartments, a large amount of mephedrone and marijuana ready for storage, as well as mobile phones, bank cards, laptops and tablets, were discovered and seized,” the publication said.

Law enforcement agencies, as well as the apartment in Murino, went to Lomonosov. Here, 200 grams of methadone, scales and packaging were found in the garage rented by a 41-year-old man.

A criminal case was filed against those detained for attempting to sell prohibited substances.

Currently, law enforcement agencies are taking all necessary measures.
