A Tomsk resident is suspected of attacking townspeople with an axe. This was reported by control Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region.

The incident took place on Novo-Kievskaya Street. According to one of the victims, she and her sister met the suspect on the street. The man invited the townspeople to sit on a bench outside his house.

While he was resting, an argument broke out between the new acquaintance and the suspect, in which the alleged attacker took an ax and hit his opponent. Upon her brother’s screams, her sister, who was also attacked by the Russians, ran out and disappeared.

“Doctors diagnosed the man with a traumatic brain injury, and the second patient suffered a less serious head injury,” the publication said.

Within a few hours, law enforcement officers managed to find the suspect 90 kilometers from Tomsk. It turned out that the man had previously been convicted of a serious crime. A criminal case was opened against the Russian and the person involved was arrested.
