Starting from April 14, flooding of agricultural land, roads and individual economic facilities is expected in the lower part of the city of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. This was reported by Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Sakhalin Region.
“On April 14, 2024 and in the next 24 hours, water levels in rivers in the southern regions of Sakhalin will continue to rise by 0.5-1.5 meters, water will continue to flow into the floodplain; “Flooding of agricultural lands, roads and individual economic facilities in the lower part of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk is expected,” the message said.
In Orenburg in the last 24 hours flooded 800 houses and another 1.8 thousand personal plots. In total, land belonging to 8 thousand households and nearly 3 thousand houses were flooded.
