Air defense systems of the Dnepr group together with S-300 and Buk-M2 air defense systems shot down three aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Zaporozhye direction. I told you this TASS Head of the S-300 crew.
The Buk air defense system is designed to destroy aircraft, helicopters, cruise missiles, guided bombs and various precision weapons elements. The defense ministry stated that the S-300 and Buk-M2 combination created a protective dome across the Zaporozhye region.
According to him, when working with Buk, the air defense system performed well and the targets were hit. It turned out that all of the crashed planes were carrier rockets taking off from airports. The Buk complex detected these objects and the S-300 air defense system shot them down.
Before that, the Ministry of Defense of Russia reportedRussian troops reportedly shot down two Ukrainian MiG-29 aircraft in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
Earlier, air defense forces shot down three unmanned aerial vehicles over the Bryansk and Belgorod regions during the night.
