Tomato Crab – Knowledge
- 1 kg crab
- 1 kg of tomatoes
- 2 carrots
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 tip of hot pepper
- 1/2 medium onion
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 small bay leaf
- 1 cup of beef broth
- 1/2 glass of white wine
- Liquid oil
- Salt
- Prepare a sauce in plenty of oil with finely chopped carrots, peppers and red peppers.
- When it starts to take color, add the onion and garlic.
- When the sauce is ready, add the white wine and sauté the peeled and crushed tomatoes and bay leaf while it cooks.
- In a large saucepan, mix the sofrito with the tomatoes and when the mixture starts to boil, add the water and season the crabs by pouring them into the pot that needs to be cooked for another six or seven minutes.
