“When our money goes down, it’s time we promote tourism because it becomes cheap for foreigners. “Singaporeans will come because our expensive hotels are so cheap for them that they will only spend a third of their salary,” he said.
He also added that he hopes for the growth of domestic tourism in the flood-affected region and hopes for the “empathy of Malaysian youth”.
