Ukrainian People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak said that the Verkhovna Rada has banned Russian music in public in the Ukrainian media. He wrote this on his Telegram channel.

In addition, 306 members of the Rada voted to ban the import and distribution of books and other publishing products from Russia, Belarus, and Russian-controlled Ukrainian territory.

The bill banning the public performance of Russian songs, the screening of clips and the tour of Russian musicians was passed. introduced To the Verkhovna Rada at the end of May. At the same time, Russian musicians who are now Ukrainian citizens or artists who condemn military operations in Ukraine will not be banned.

Until then Rada approved Draft law on the prohibition of imports of drugs from Russia and Belarus.
