The case of Arslanov, Former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, will be considered behind closed doors.

The criminal case involving Halil Arslanov, the former Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, will be closed to the media and audience. This has been reported TASSrefers to the court.

“The court accepted the petition of the prosecutor’s office and decided that the case of Kh. A. Arslanov and the other two defendants should be heard behind closed doors,” the report said.

The next meeting will be held on June 24 at 14:00.

The State Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the request to close the proceedings, saying that there were materials in the case that constituted official secrets.

Also in this case, the former head of the department of the order to improve the technical basis of the control system of the RF Armed Forces, Colonel Pavel Kutakhov, military pensioner Igor Yakovlev and the pre-trial agreement, including the former deputy of Arslanov, Major General Alexander Ogloblin.
