British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said the country will oversee a new three-week training program for Ukrainian soldiers. This has been reported Guard Based on the Prime Minister’s statement.

“While Ukrainian soldiers are launching British rockets to defend the sovereignty of their country, they are also doing so to defend the freedoms we take for granted. That’s why I proposed to President Zelensky a major new military training program that could use his strongest strength – Ukraine’s determination to win – that could change the equation in this war.”

The new curriculum will include combat skills training, basic medical training, cybersecurity and counter-bomb tactics. The newspaper states that, according to preliminary data, the courses will be held in Poland, apart from Ukraine.

Britain has provided Ukraine with £1.3bn of economic and military support, including anti-tank missiles, armored vehicles and explosives, according to the publication.
