The State Duma Committee on Family Protection, Paternity, Motherhood and Childhood Issues supported the initiative of the Altai Legislative Assembly to prioritize the provision of places in kindergartens for children of medical workers. In this respect reports “Parliamentary newspaper”.
At the committee meeting, the representative of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Lyudmila Letnikova, supported the initiative, but noted that the bill needed to be improved, since the proposal of the Altai deputies did not contain a clear list of medical specialties that would benefit. It had to be extended.
“We have medical psychologists, speech therapists, physicists and chemists in our system. “The Ministry of Health wants to extend this decision to all healthcare workers,” Letnikova emphasized.
According to a representative of the Ministry of Health, if this is not done and a law is passed regarding certain medical specialties, this could lead to a flow of personnel from one profession to another.
Formerly in the State Duma offered to provide Additional benefits for single parents.
