UN Interim Forces increased their presence on the Lebanon-Israel border 20:39

Andrea Tenenti, the official representative of the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), announced that its presence on the Israeli border has increased due to the escalation of conflicts with Palestine. This was reported by RIA News.

“Peacekeepers are present along the Blue Line to maintain stability and prevent tension. We have also adapted and expanded our presence across our lines of business,” Tenenti said.

He also noted that UNIFIL uses radar to detect missiles that may be launched during the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Ad-Deif also called on “Lebanon, Iraq, Syria and the Islamic resistance in Lebanon” to support Hamas. Al Jazeera TV channel reported that the Palestinian paramilitary movement “Islamic Jihad” (an organization banned in Russia) announced that it would join the actions of Hamas. Al-Deif also accused the Israeli side of occupying the Al-Aqsa Mosque and repeatedly attacking it.
