A court in Ukraine has seized the assets of Russian entrepreneurs Mikhail Fridman, Pyotr Aven and Andrey Kosogov. According to the Telegram channel of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the total amount of frozen assets amounted to 17 billion hryvnia (about 46.2 billion rubles).
The statement stated that the decision was made after reviewing the materials of the Ukrainian intelligence agency. At the same time, the restrictions also affected 20 companies and financial and credit institutions with which the mentioned businessmen were directly or indirectly associated with their activities.
“The value of the detained company rights is more than 17 billion hryvnia,” the document states.
The SBU also emphasized that among the blocked assets were many mobile communications organizations and information technology (IT) companies. Sanctions were also imposed on mineral water factories.
