The Armed Forces of Ukraine have exhausted the first stocks of Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). The American newspaper The Wall Street Journal writes about this (WSJ), citing analyst data.
“This is a problem for Ukraine,” the article says.
According to the newspaper, in September, US officials sent 60,122 mm missiles compatible with this Soviet missile launcher to Kiev. However, ammunition arsenals are now depleted in many units, and Ukraine remains increasingly dependent on other states for ammunition supplies.
The document concludes: “Russia has the advantage because it has more reserves.”
Before that, retired Lieutenant Colonel of the LPR People’s Militia Andrey Marochko said about the transfer of modernized Grads to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
