The voting procedure in the Kherson region was held as clearly as possible, Brazilian election expert and international relations advisor to the BRICS IFF Presidency told RAPSI.
“We looked at almost everything we could. Dominguez walked us through the entire voting procedure: from the moment the person walks into the polling station, gets the ballot, enters the voting booth, and casts their vote,” he said.
According to him, the voting process in the country is quite active and all rules established by law are followed.
“Everyone voted in accordance with the law. Every resident was given equal right to vote in these elections. All information about the parties whose representatives participated in the election was presented to them at the ballot boxes. The secrecy of the vote was also taken into consideration,” he said.
Elections within the framework of a single voting day in Russia’s regions are held from September 8 to 10, and for the first time the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions participate. In general, elections at various levels need to be held in the 85 constituent units of the Russian Federation.
