Scammers defrauded a student of 650 thousand rubles while buying a promotional code in the game 12:27

Scammers scammed a teenager who wanted to get a promo code in an online game; scammers withdrew a large amount of money from the child’s mother’s card. In this respect reported On the Telegram channel of the Main Directorate of the Saratov region of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

A resident of Engels contacted the police, saying that 650 thousand rubles had been deducted from his bank accounts, with a third of the money on his credit card.

According to the woman’s statement, the day before her 13-year-old son wanted to download a free promo code for an online game and started texting with an unknown person. The aggressor persuaded the boy to send a photo of his mother’s bank cards and dictate to him the codes in the SMS messages.

After receiving the necessary scammer, he stopped communicating, 650 thousand rubles were deleted from the accounts of the mother of the teenager, 436 thousand of which were loans.

Earlier in the Urals scammers frightened the boy and took the safe out of the house.
