President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has instructed the state company Roscosmos and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) to study the creation and design of spacecraft for extremely low orbits (up to 200 km). This was reported by the press service Kremlin.
“[Поручаю] Consider the issue of creating spacecraft operating in extremely low orbits (up to 200 km),” the Russian leader said after the plenary session of the Strong Ideas for New Time forum.

The head of state gave such instructions to Yuri Borisov, head of Roscosmos, and Svetlana Chupsheva, director general of the ASI, and set a deadline for execution no later than December 1 of this year.
