Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said that road communication with Crimea through the new regions of the Russian Federation will be around the clock. He expressed this in a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“We have taken a decision on behalf of the president that 24-hour travel will be organized in the new regions,” the deputy prime minister said.
He recalled that previous curfews were in effect in these areas.
“The order was given to allow cars to pass around the clock,” Khusnullin said.
Khusnullin also said that an inch of the road section of the Crimean bridge cannot be restored. He noted that there was no damage to the bridge piers and that they were in “normal condition”.
