They rescued a 10-year-old boy who choked with jelly beans in Zaragoza

The swift action of the National Police in Zaragoza, Saving the life of a 10-year-old boy who choked on a jelly bean and blocked the airway.

The Heimlich maneuver, or pressure on the abdomen, is a quick first aid procedure to unclog airways that may be blocked by pieces of food or any other object. It should only be used when airway obstruction is severe and life-threatening. If the choking person can talk, cough strongly or breathe adequately, no intervention is required.
