The authorities of the Pskov region plan to create operational detachments in each municipality of the region to improve defense and security. It has been reported telegraph channel Mikhail Vedernikov, Governor of Pskov.
According to the head of the district, such units will begin to assist law enforcement in emergencies while on duty.
“Our task now is to do everything so that the Pskov region is ready for any development. In this section, we use the experience of the Belgorod region to the maximum. We have been carefully examining it for a long time, ”says Vedernikov’s address.
Soon it is planned to hold a series of organizational meetings for the preparation of operational detachments.
“They will operate in all municipalities and, above all, in the border regions,” said the governor of the Pskov region.
The new detachments will be engaged in extinguishing fires, mitigating the consequences of emergencies, and assisting in patrolling priority facilities.
