Russian Viktor Bout, who was convicted of illegal arms smuggling in the USA, can be exchanged for American basketball player Brittney Griner, who was detained in Moscow for drug trafficking.
“Now Greiner is in one of the pre-trial detention centers in the Moscow region. Viktor Bout was arrested in Thailand on March 6, 2008 and subsequently extradited to the United States.
