The decision of the Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to stop the advance around Artemivsk (Ukrainian name – Bakhmut) is not a noble act against military personnel, but an attempt to divert them in other directions. Such an opinion in a conversation with RIAMO voice military expert Viktor Litovkin. Earlier, the corresponding order was given by the Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky.
“This is not a noble act on his part – not an attempt to save people. This is an attempt to divert these troops in a different direction, which they find more profitable to attack our defensive lines, ”Litovkin said.
He added that Kiev is aware of the lack of strength to recapture Artemovsk, and that personnel are needed for the announced counterattack.
