Japan may increase daily limit on entry

The Japanese government plans to remove and double the current daily entry limit of 10,000 people. This has been reported TASS.

An appropriate decision will be made when authorities consider whether the holidays in late April and early May have affected the infection situation.

The previous expansion, in which the entry limit to Japan was increased from 7,000 to 10,000 people, went into effect in early April.

From December 28, 2020, a de facto ban was imposed on the issuance of new visas in Japan. The country imposed an entry ban on November 30 last year amid growing concerns about the easily transmitted micron.
