Man arrested after stabbing two hostel guests in St. Petersburg informs City Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the official Telegram channel.
According to preliminary data, on March 8, 2023, at 16:47, a knife fight was reported to the police. Law enforcement officers who came to the scene determined that there was an argument between the 3 people living in the hostel due to hostility, and one person stabbed the other 2 people. The suspect fled the scene.
The 36-year-old and 57-year-old victims were hospitalized. Doctors rated their condition as moderate.
Police detained a 27-year-old suspect in hot pursuit. A criminal case was brought against him under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentionally causing grievous bodily harm).
