Russian special services blocked an attempt on the life of Vasily Prozorov, a former employee of the Security Service of Ukraine, who exposed the activities of the SBU. It has been reported DEA News referring to a representative of law enforcement agencies.
According to the investigation, in November last year sabotage and reconnaissance groups received a terrorist attack order from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine against Prozorov, who held a press conference in Moscow on March 25, 2019. Organized by the Rossiya Segodnya press center, which disclosed the activities of the SBU in Ukraine in 2014-2018.
One of the detained saboteurs mentioned during the interrogation a specially equipped hiding place where everything necessary for the assassination attempt on Prozorov was stored.
A representative of the Russian law enforcement agencies said that the security forces found a cache, which contained an improvised explosive device with a capacity of one kilogram of TNT equivalent to striking elements, three VOG ammunition, two F1 bombs, one RGO bomb.
