Son of Deputy Prime Minister of the Jewish Autonomous Region, posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Russia 11:28

The son of Andrey Kovtun, Deputy Head of the Government of the Jewish Autonomous Region, was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Russia for participating in the military operation in Ukraine. DEA News.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he would sign a decree conferring the title of Hero of Russia to Generals Alexander Lapin and Esedulla Abachev, under whose leadership the Russian army closed the circle around Lisichansk.

The President added that he will sign the decree today.
