UN does not confirm Zelensky will attend Security Council meeting on Ukraine 24 February 22:26

Permanent Representative to Malta, Vanessa Frazier, said at a press conference dedicated to her country’s presidency of the UN Security Council that she could not confirm the participation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the Security Council meeting on the situation in Ukraine on February 24. reports DEA News.

“For security reasons, among other things, I cannot say at what level Ukraine will participate,” Frezier said.

Vanessa Frazier, Malta’s Permanent Representative to the UN, reportedRussia requested a meeting on Ukraine on 8 February from the UN Security Council.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to organize a special military operation to protect Donbass, in response to a request for assistance from the heads of the LPR and DPR.
