In Germany, soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be taught only the basics of using Leopard tanks 19:49

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said that the Ukrainian army will begin to learn the basics of using Leopard tanks. According to the TV channel, this will be an incomplete course, but only basic skills training. Phoenix words of the head of the defense department.

“Of course it won’t be a full work process as our soldiers go through. But there is no other way,” said Pistorius.

The Minister added that the training will be held in Munster, Germany, as in the training of Ukrainian soldiers to use Marder armored infantry vehicles.

Earlier, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced the transfer of tanks to Ukraine. He stressed that in addition to the Leopard 2 tanks, Warsaw is ready to supply Kiev with 60 tanks, 30 of which are PT-91. The German government had previously confirmed that it would hand over the Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine and allow other countries to re-export them.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova later statedThat the supply of tanks to Ukraine will take the conflict between the West and Russia to a new level.
