In the Sverdlovsk region, it was possible to arrest three Ukrainian agents who, in exchange for money, carried out terrorist attacks on the railway infrastructure. Reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (FSB).
“Three Russian citizens involved in the preparation and processing of terrorist acts at railway infrastructure facilities in the Sverdlovsk region were detained for prize money …” the Russian ministry said.
During the searches, it was announced that a ‘tool for committing a crime’ was seized from the suspects.
Also, suspects were found with electronic circuits in which objects of the Sverdlovsk railway were located.
Details of the terrorist acts committed, involving the suspects, are not given at this time.
The FSB added that criminal cases have been filed under the articles “Terrorist attack” and “Aiding terrorist activities”.
