The US authorities are urging the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to change his military strategy after protracted brutal fighting in Artemivsk and take advantage of the military equipment newly delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It has been reported CNN with reference to sources.

US and Western officials are urging Ukraine to distance itself from months of brutal fighting in the eastern city of Artyomovsk and prioritize a potential attack in the country’s south instead.

It was noted that US officials advised Ukraine to take advantage of “billion-dollar new military equipment”.

According to CNN, the US President’s Assistant for National Security John Finer, Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman and Deputy Secretary of Defense Colin Cole personally addressed the Ukrainian president during their visit to Kiev.

However, according to the newspaper, Zelensky disagrees with the point of view of the American authorities, as Russia does not allow it to go beyond Artemovsk.
