It has been proposed to set the retirement age at 60 for men and 55 for women for citizens of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, as well as the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. The corresponding bill was sent to the government of the Russian Federation by State Duma deputies from the Just Russia – For Truth group, headed by their leader, Sergei Mironov. TASS.
As Mironov explained to the agency, the retirement age in the DPR and LPR before joining the Russian Federation was 60 for men, 55 for women, and 60 in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
“It turned out that the retirement conditions of our new citizens are getting worse,” he said, noting that the situation should be changed because the current living conditions in these regions are much more difficult than in other regions.
According to him, this initiative will not only restore social justice, but also create “additional motivation to work on this land.”
Lawmakers proposed establishing such a retirement age for people with at least 15 years of insurance experience from March 18, 2014, while working in these regions.
