The services “Rabota.ru” and “Podrabotka” conducted a research and found out how much money and what Russians want to spend on the New Year holidays. More than 5,000 Rabota.ru users over the age of 18 from all regions of Russia participated in the study, the results of which were reviewed by socialbites.ca.
35% of respondents indicated that they spend up to 30 thousand rubles for the New Year holidays. Another 27% of respondents said that they are ready to spend from 30 thousand to 50 thousand rubles.
15% of the respondents planned to spend up to 70 thousand rubles, 11% up to 100 thousand rubles, 10% up to 150 thousand rubles, and 2% more than 150 thousand.
52% of the surveyed Russians plan to spend the allocated budget on holiday entertainment. 45% of respondents indicated that some of the money will be spent on New Year’s gifts. 41% expect to spend more on food and drink, and 37% on winter sports.
26% of survey respondents have budgeted for travel during the holidays, and 21% of respondents will spend some of the money on decor and holiday decorations. In addition, 20% of the participants stated that they would spend more money on cafes and restaurants.
In the “Other” option, respondents indicated that they plan to spend more on repairing an apartment or car, purchasing equipment during the holidays, and visiting cinemas.
