Was it difficult for you to decide when choosing dishes for your final menu?

It was very clear. I knew I wanted to tell a little family story. I have a very good relationship with my brother. I’ve traveled a lot with it and actually my menu is called ‘Living travel’. Traveling is my favorite thing and Quique Dacosta suits me very well because she is a person who reflects feelings and emotions on her plates. It was great working with him because it was so easy for me to tell the story I wanted to tell since he already works that way.

How did you train to do this?

I worked in the studio for a weekend with Quique Dacosta. I left like Thursday and was there Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I was also with his second assistant, Juanfran Valiente, and he was incredible. We spent the whole weekend making domes, breaking them, making bottoms and cores. It is true that it is a very difficult and upside-down menu. He was very memorizing. He knew how much of everything to put in. I could have danced with you and hallucinated because I realized I had a memory of what I wanted. It is also true that it is a difficult menu to apply at home because it is a very gourmet kitchen after all, but I managed to make it at home in the background and it was just as delicious. I also made the cream of the bean so that it would be an Indian point. Each course is a trip to Thailand, India and Bali and I did everything I could at home but what I finally told you was a very mental thing.

And did you cook at home again?

Do you know what my problem is? I work at noon, and it’s lunchtime when you crave cooking, prepping and doing the things that are a bit bulky. So I come at night and at the end I make the main dish for the boy and the boiled fish, because of course I would love to have a padthai but he couldn’t do it every day because it’s a ‘Fridays bingo for the ladies’. It’s true that I’m crazy because Roneri took the siphon, all the bottles of the diffuser. All this is at home. Suddenly, I’m making you a land. Things that sound cool to me because they’re easy to do in quotes and I own the products. Plus, they’re so weird and I have a crazy 3-year-old son. So, yes, it’s been great for me to practice at home, which I love to do with it.

Back in competition time, how would you experience that premiere you were about to leave without the efforts of Daniela Santiago?

I am forever grateful. There was a lot of turmoil there too, and I didn’t understand it because I would have done the same if it had been Daniela. People also have to consider that it’s not just cooking that’s on trial at certain moments in the show. I’m sorry but if I have to save someone who makes me happier, and even if they’ve cooked worse, then I’d rather save my friend. This is so because it is an empathy. So it’s a skill because the activity is being worked on and developed and it suddenly appears, well, you did it so cool and you practiced it, but we’re human too. We live together We have three months with people who want to see. That’s why I prefer to stay with people I love and give me life.

It’s true that there Daniela was very determined to save me because the move was not between Manu Baqueiro and me, but between Pepe Barroso and me. In other words, Manu was doing very well and they wanted to save him and Daniela said it was because I was the one who made it worse, but then look we became duelists. What do you think of what happened to Patricia Conde in the final outdoor test?

I saw it from home because I have no idea. In fact, he had heard some things after talking to María Escoté after asking how it was going. Even he couldn’t tell me what really happened. When we see the program, we become just like other viewers. I see things that scare me because I didn’t know it, for example Daniela Santiago left a comment. I don’t understand until I watch the show. So, when I saw Patricia, I was as surprised as you were because I didn’t understand the process of getting there. This program is so personal that each of us has an experience. No one can say, ‘I work in television and I will do this’. No. I’ve gone through many programs and it takes a lot of dedication. It’s not just what you see on the show, but what’s behind it. These are the trips… I understood very well Patricia Conde’s statement that she was tired and sleepy. I’ve only had 3 months of sleep. I would come home and have to go with a flashlight to see and kiss my son. I think he had the same problem. There is so much that has come out and each manages differently and I had a crazy time as each of them was able to tell what they went through. It was great.

Were you afraid that something similar might happen to you?

Yes, printing has been possible to me. I’ve been crying for days too. As I said yesterday, I didn’t know how to cry, but when you’re on the verge of insomnia, you’re under pressure to do something you don’t know how to do well, and you have 150 cameras. next to you… I’m lucky to feel natural and free. It’s true that I’m working hard not to be judged and afraid, but we’re very open. People adore you and people hate you. This is the 21st century. Welcome to social networks. I’m actually grateful because one of my favorite things about ‘Masterchef’ is that people get to know me. No matter how much hate and no matter how much I showed my genius. Yes, but this is me. This happens to me too, but people have met a very funny Lorena, very hardworking, very annoying, very showman… I get as angry as a journalist here because you ask me three things that I have already answered. but just like I would tell any of my family. What kind of relationship will you have with him from now on? kitchen?

For now, fortunately, the truth is that I have a lot of work and I have other projects besides television, which is ‘Bingo for Ladies’. I’m working on it there because it’s a growing project as well.
