Czech Parliament approves the stay of the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the training period 01:53

The Czech Parliament has approved the stay of Ukrainian military personnel in the country for the duration of their training. Czech radio.

It was reported that the Czech army was also approved to send its Ukrainian colleagues to other countries for training.

The parliamentary resolution was adopted by a majority of votes.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine will be trained at the Libava training ground (in the north-east of the country). It is known that by the end of 2023, five four-week courses will be held in which a total of 800 Ukrainian military personnel will take part.

The deputies of the Freedom and Direct Democracy movement did not agree with this decision.

55 Czech experts will go to other countries to train the Ukrainian army.

Former President of Finland Sauli Niiniste declarationThis sees no obstacles to the training of the Ukrainian army in Finland. Niiniste also stated that he does not expect any significant progress regarding the entry of the two northern countries into NATO during the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Finland, Sweden and Turkey in Bucharest.
