Only 14% of Russian companies plan to hold New Year’s corporate parties 03:00

The Rabota.ru service conducted a research and found out whether Russian residents are waiting for New Year’s corporate parties and in what format they will be held. More than 3,500 service users from all regions of Russia participated in the survey, the results of which were reviewed by socialbites.ca.

Therefore, 14% of respondents indicated that their employer plans to hold New Year’s corporate parties in 2022. Another 26% stated that they decided to organize a holiday on their own with their colleagues. The majority of Russians (60%) said that their company will not have a New Year’s holiday.

Traditionally, most of the New Year holidays are scheduled to be held offline — this was noted by 91% of respondents in Russia. 73% of the participants stated that corporate parties in their companies will be held in external venues. At the same time, 27% shared that the Eid event will take place in their office.

In Russia, 31% of respondents indicated that corporate parties in their companies would be paid in full by employers. A quarter (25%) of respondents indicated that part of the holiday activity will be paid for by employees. 44% of the respondents said that all expenses of the New Year celebration in their company will be covered by the employees.

This year, approximately 16% of corporate events are planned to be non-alcoholic.

More than one-third (37%) of respondents indicated that they would give up their vacation to get a cash bonus. Another 29% of study participants will bear the holiday canceled if the funds saved from the holiday are sent to charity or social projects. 14% of respondents in Russia are ready to give up the New Year’s corporate party in this way.

Only 20% of respondents said they would under no circumstances refuse a New Year’s corporate party.
